BRIEF CV OF DR. SANTHANAM PRABHAKAR
Dr Santhanam Prabhakar formerly a Joint Director Government of India, Lok Sabha, Parliament of India, New Delhi, has over 40 years of experience in various capacities in Central Government, PSUs of Central & State Governments, esteemed organisations/undertakings in private and public sectors. Obtained his Ph.D. degrees from the Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, M.A. (Political Science), University of Madras, & Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai. The Title of his Ph.D. Thesis - “The Making of India’s Foreign Policy since 1990s: A Study of Parliamentary Inputs”.
A serious researcher and prolific writer, Dr. Prabhakar has 30 published papers, presented over 70 papers in various national & international seminars and delivered over 100 Lectures/Keynote, Inaugural and Valedictory Addresses and participated in Panel Discussions and Chaired and Co-Chaired Sessions in Seminars, apart from Review of Discussions for IIC, New Delhi. Contributed as an Evaluator for SSC, for Private Secretary/Private Assistant/Stenographers/Lower Division Clerk examination.
Participating in meetings of Sector-wise Policy Group (SPG) on Foreign Policy of IIC chaired by Amb. K.P. Fabian as Foreign Policy Scholar during discussions on Russia-Ukraine Conflict, Israel-Palestine War, Bangladesh, Iran, Nepal et al.
